Headline Speaker - Dr. Helen Wall
Dr. Helen Wall is a highly respected General Practitioner, menopause specialist, author, and leading advocate for women’s health, with a particular focus on the intersection of ADHD and menopause. With a career spanning clinical practice, medical education, and media engagement, she has become a trusted voice in raising awareness of how hormonal changes can profoundly impact neurodivergent women.
As a GP, Dr. Wall is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach, combining evidence-based medicine with a deep understanding of the lived experiences of her patients. Her specialist interest in menopause has led her to support countless women navigating the often complex physical and psychological changes associated with this life stage. Recognising a significant gap in awareness, she has pioneered conversations around how menopause can exacerbate or unmask symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), particularly in women who may have been previously undiagnosed.
Dr. Wall is the author of ADHD and Menopause, a groundbreaking work that brings together clinical expertise, emerging research, and real-life experiences to shed light on an under-recognised area of women’s health. Her writing is widely praised for its clarity, empathy, and practicality, offering both validation and actionable guidance to women who often feel overlooked by traditional healthcare narratives.
Beyond her clinical and literary work, Dr. Wall is a passionate ADHD advocate. She works tirelessly to challenge stigma, improve understanding, and promote better diagnostic and support pathways for women and girls. Through her advocacy, she highlights the unique ways ADHD can present across the female lifespan, particularly during periods of hormonal transition.
Dr. Wall is also a prominent media GP and columnist, regularly contributing expert commentary to national publications, broadcast media, and digital platforms. Her ability to translate complex medical concepts into accessible, relatable information has made her a sought-after voice in public health discussions. Whether addressing menopause, mental health, or neurodiversity, she is committed to empowering individuals with knowledge and encouraging informed conversations.
In addition to her media work, Dr. Wall is dedicated to professional education, supporting fellow clinicians in recognising and managing ADHD and menopause more effectively. She advocates for a more integrated, holistic approach to women’s healthcare—one that acknowledges the interplay between hormones, mental health, and neurodiversity.
Driven by both professional expertise and a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes, Dr. Helen Wall continues to influence the evolving landscape of women’s health. Her work not only bridges critical gaps in understanding but also ensures that women feel seen, heard, and supported at every stage of life.
Emma Warwick-McElhinney
Emma Warwick-McElhinney is the only menopause training provider who combines evidence-based menopause education with real-world business strategy — and nearly a decade of coaching experience to back it up.
As founder of The Menopause Training Academy, she accredits coaches to specialise in menopause, and delivers workplace menopause education to organisations who are done paying lip service to women’s health.
A qualified Nutritionist and ex-Personal Trainer with a Post Grad in Psychology, Emma combines the what to do with the how to actually do it -bringing behaviour change, habit science, and absolutely zero woo-woo to what has, for too long, been an overcomplicated, underwhelming, and frankly quite dull conversation.
She’s the bestselling author of Piss Off Perimenopause, host of the Piss Off Perimenopause podcast, and someone who has made it her life’s mission to help women live happily and healthily in their own skin-and have fun doing it.
Expect humour. Expect straight talk. Expect to actually enjoy learning about hormones for once.

Trudi Roscouet
Trudi is founder of Eve Studios in St Helier, Jersey and a women’s health and menopause advocate, championing preventative health and wellbeing.
After years working in the financial services industry, both in Jersey and Gibraltar, Trudi qualified as a Master Personal Trainer, specialising in women and children’s fitness and obesity. However, at no point did the word ‘menopause’ enter her vocabulary, thinking that her 50 year old female clients weren’t losing weight because they weren’t doing what they were told to do!
Now she understands! Her work commenced in 2020 whilst in lockdown in Spain but, her return to Jersey, and through the writing an 8-week menopause course, saw her step into the women’s health arena.
Further collaboration with a local female GP, who specialised in women’s health, led to Jersey’s Menopause Forum and further FB support groups. Since starting on her personal crusade, Trudi has worked with Carolyn Harris MP, a leading figure and Co-chairperson of the Menopause Task Force in the UK and Heather Currie, MBE, who leads the Scottish NHS Inform.
Trudi is passionate about helping women feel strong, confident, and supported at every stage of life. A qualified personal trainer since 2010, she specialises in women’s fitness, strength training, and menopause wellbeing. From boxing gloves to pilates form, she loves making fitness fun, effective, and accessible for all. As a Menopause Wellbeing Coach and women’s health advocate, Trudi brings expert guidance and real-life empathy to every session.

Marie Thom is a 60-year-old woman in her mirror and a 25-year-old woman in her head. A big knickers wearer, muffin-top fighter, chin hair plucker and frantic fan flapper. She draws her eyebrows in which are balding at an alarming rate, along with her nether regions. She doesn’t draw those in because that would be just plain weird. She writes the Facebook humour page for midlife and older women, Midlife Dramas in Pyjamas, which has 94k followers. Marie has published three books based on the page, including her poetry book The Vagina Verses. She loves to write funny poems about women’s issues, and her poems have been used to support events like incontinence clinics, menopause training sessions and a theatre performance for International Women’s Day.
Marie has written articles for Good Housekeeping, Good Housekeeping Online, Best, Menopause Life and had a poem published in Platinum. She has been interviewed on BBC Radio Newcastle and appeared as a guest on several podcasts. She now co-hosts her own podcast called Hear Me Roar – inspirational stories from midlife and beyond.
