Dr Monika Gostic is a PhD geneticist, lifestyle medicine practitioner, university lecturer and women’s health educator specialising in perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause.
She is the creator of MenoMAP, a science-led framework that helps women navigate midlife with confidence by combining evidence-based nutrition, gut microbiome science, hormone health, lifestyle medicine and personalised health strategies.
Rather than offering generic meal plans or quick fixes, Monika works with women experiencing weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, inflammation and metabolic changes, helping them understand what is happening in their bodies and how to respond using practical, sustainable solutions.
Her work combines advanced biomarker interpretation, gut microbiome testing and the latest research with real-world coaching that fits around busy lives, careers and families. She believes every woman deserves healthcare that looks beyond symptoms and supports the whole person.
Alongside her clinical work, Monika lectures at the University of Aberdeen, speaks nationally on women’s health and health innovation, and is developing BalanceHer, an AI-powered personalised health platform designed to transform how women understand and manage their health throughout midlife.

Our science- and psychology-based training blends evidence with real-world application — empowering coaches, trainers, and organisations to create lasting change. We’re here to make menopause education practical, professional, and something women can finally feel confident and supported through.
Menopause Educator, Author, and Women’s Therapeutic Coach, Alison Craig is all about menopause and midlife. With an extensive background in health, wellness and fitness, and comprehensively trained as a Menopause Practitioner and Champion by Burrell Education and Menopause Experts, she helps women to engage positively with menopause and midlife. Her programmes use lifestyle strategies to support women at all stages of menopause, as well as protecting health and vitality going into the later years. Alison delivers corporate menopause training to guide employers towards being Menopause Friendly, group ‘Menopause Revive’ courses, one-to-one therapeutic coaching, and also a range of talks, either for general menopause awareness or themed more specifically, eg nutrition, mental health, sleep, movement etc. Alison has also authored a course on menopause for OpenLearn, and she is working on a series of short menopause-themed e-books.
